Meet Latisa

I’m Latisa—a mother to four beautiful daughters, wife to my husband, Christopher, and a devoted birth worker who has spent the past 8+ years walking alongside women and families through some of life’s most transformative moments.

My journey in birth work has taken me through many roles—as a doula, birth photographer, doula mentor, and now student midwife. I’m deeply grateful for the mentors, midwives, and birth professionals who have poured into me and shaped my understanding of compassionate, informed care. My own birth experiences—including two cesareans and two VBACs—have also deeply shaped the way I serve and remind me that every birth story deserves to be honored.

Whether birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes an unexpected path, my heart is to celebrate, encourage, educate, and support women without judgment—helping them feel informed, empowered, and cared for every step of the way.

P.S. Love Mommy was founded by Latisa Ratliff, a longtime birth worker whose passion for supporting families has continued to grow throughout her years in the birth community. As Latisa continues her journey into midwifery, she remains committed to building a collective of exceptional doulas who can provide families with the compassionate, continuous support P.S. Love Mommy is known for.
